Church planting is the heart beat of Grace Gospel Mission. We plant Churches in different parts of India both rural and urban area's. At present, we are encouraging our pastors in the villages to plant new churches by providing them monthly financial assistance.
When a missionary is sent to a new village for planting a church. He needs to be supported every month even after he establishes a church. Some of our missionaries work in villages without electricity, transport or good drinking water. Most of our missionaries dwell in small rented houses or huts. These faithful missionaries face numerous problems, where there are seldom Christian families to support them or to encourage them.
The basic living cost for a missionary family per month is Rs.2500/- (50 Dollars). In addition, Grace Gospel Mission provides the missionaries with bicycles, public address systems, Bibles and Gospel literature enabling them to do effective evangelism and plant churches.
An important aspect of Church planting is to help the missionaries and the villagers to worship the Lord with freedom. The believers in the Indian village churches are mainly poor downtrodden people, who work as laborers and farmers.
They cannot financially support the church construction work. They gather in the houses rented by missionaries or under big trees or in some cases, under a thatched roof to worship the Lord. Financial assistance is required for erecting simple prayer halls for the purpose of Sunday worship, weekly meetings and Sunday school. A simple construction would be about 60 ft., long and 20 ft., wide. This construction is estimated to cost about $8000/- to $10000/-.
We encourage you to give extensively to this project of building churches and supporting pastors in the villages, who work tirelessly for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our vision is to plant 1000 churches with concrete building in India. |
